If I wasn’t going to be an actor, I wanted to be a quantum physicist.

Growing up, I always wanted to know why things worked the way they did. I owe a large part of that to my mom: I had accidentally watched the 2005 version of King Kong way too young, and instead of just explaining how everything was fake, my mom showed me the behind-the-scenes footage of the movie, with the green screens and CGI and figurines. Since then, I’ve always been curious about how things work, what makes them tick, from something as simple as a zolly to something as grandiose as the universe.

I always bring that curiosity and tenacity to my roles, and my stories. To me, every bit of dialogue, every action line, every unspoken moment, is a piece of a puzzle, and I’m the one that’s going to put it together. And when I’m not acting, you can usually find me holed up in a cafe writing my own stories, trying to put together and break apart my own puzzles. 

I trained at the Atlantic Acting School with NYU, and am an alum of the Acting Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts.
